What is Fibroblast Plasma/Plasma Lift?

Fibroblast Plasma treatment or soft surgery, is a new revolutionary non-surgical lift treatment. This procedure is a highly effective alternative to surgery. Fibroblast treatment shrinks excess skin, smooths wrinkles, tightens eyelids and dramatically reduces hooded eyelids.

How Does Fibroblast Plasma Lift Work?

Fibroblast Plasma Lift is a very safe, minimally invasive, effective type of treatment that utilizes plasma technology. This innovative technology uses a sublimation process, turning solid directly to gas to tighten. The targeted tissues are instantly tightened. Healing is quick and scar free, improving skin elasticity, resulting in a smoother tighter look. Fibroblast is a very precise treatment which gives targeted correction with minimal downtime, with results that are long lasting.

Fibroblast Aftercare

Fibroblast Plasma Lift, IS a downtime treatment. You will have tiny brown marks (carbon crusts) on the treatment areas and there will be some swelling. Some people can react quite severely with swelling for a few days. This is why we recommend a few days off of work. The carbon crust scabs will fall off in 7-10 days resulting in new pink skin beneath. You can use mineral/oil free makeup 3 days post treatment. For the best results it is important that you follow the instructed aftercare given.

Frequently Asked Questions

IS PLASMA LIFT PAINFUL? We all have different pain thresholds. Some people sail through treatment, others find certain areas more sensitive and uncomfortable. Our clinic offers a few options to minimize the discomfort, including an anesthetic cream that is applied for 30 minutes prior to procedure.

WHat Should I Expect?

Immediately after treatment the area will be red, with small brown marks (carbon crusts). 1-2 days after treatment the area may swell. It can take 7-10 days for the carbon crusts to fall off, revealing new pink skin. This slight redness is no longer visible after 3 weeks.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Most patients achieve their desired results after just a single treatment. However, depending on the area being treated and the condition of the skin before treatment, an additional treatment may be required after 6-8 weeks to achieve maximum results.

How Long Does It Last?

Fibroblast plasma is more than a simple tightening treatment (skin volume is actually reduced) the effects should last as long as they would with invasive surgery. Like all surgical and cosmetic procedures, the effects of fibroblast plasma are not entirely permanent, as it does not stop any further aging. You will notice improvement immediately after the first treatment; the final results will be seen after 8 weeks. Additional treatments may be required, this is patient specific. Additionally, there are lifestyle factors that can prevent the result from lasting as long as they can, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, and prolonged sun exposure.

Am I A Candidate For This Procedure?

You should be in good health at the time of procedure. Clients prone to keloid scars, diabetes/healing disorders, history of hyper/hypo pigmentation are not ideal candidates. Clients with sunburn/suntan, cold/flu, should postpone treatment. This treatment is only recommended on Fitzpatrick skin types 1-3.
